Finally we were able to get together for more than just a potluck--lately-- (although potlucks are great!).
Today we went wild and practiced building Paiute deadfall traps. It was even easier than I had remembered. It felt good to use my hands again for such a fine purpose.
On the way we saw an amazing log with at least five varieties of beautiful living slimes and fungi. We intend to participate in the Avl mushroom club this season. I can't wait.

We have alot of catching up to do. Our focus isn't just on primitive living, we are also trying to uncover and nurture our wildselves. Allow that part of us that has been beaten down, that has been hidden away for fear of abandonment and pain to once again be free. The information we need to live healthy lives is inside each of us, its just been covered by fear,anger, pain, and the lessons from a society that looks to control, not to free, the individuals that are a part of it. We want freedom and we can help each other.
